CVMC will charge an initial fee of €500 (including IVA) which will provide members with the following services.

• Opening of CV bank account
• Sourcing appropriate building, contents and / or third party liability insurances
• Providing advice on Cape Verdean income, capital gains and inheritance taxes
• Providing a lifelong financial update service as changes occur
• Recommendation of other Professional Services eg Foreign Exchange, Lawyers, Insurance Companies, Rental Agents and Interior Designers.
• Access to English speaking staff.

Applying for an approval in principle

Upon receipt of an approval in principle from the banks CVMC will charge an additional fee (maximum €600) to arrange the mortgage and documentation. The level of fee is subject to the complexities of your case. For further information please contact us directly.

We can also arrange for your annual tax returns to be completed for you at an additional charge. Any income generated by renting out your property is liable to income tax in Cape Verde and it is necessary to complete annual tax returns.
